President & Chief
President & Chief Financial Officer
David joined National Property Inspections as Business Manager in 2016 and continued in that role until May 2019, at which time he became our President and Chief Financial Officer. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Mathematics from Buena Vista University and currently manages day-to-day business activities, performs the company’s accounting functions, coordinates software development and assists with long-term planning. In addition to his management duties as President, David also helps train and mentor new franchisees and provides business management support for current franchise owners.

Vice President of Sales & Development
Chris works with national and regional companies within the NPI National Accounts department. With account coordination, he refers inspections to our franchisees and tracks the progress and completion of assignments to our client's satisfaction. Additionally, he applies his training and field experience by providing technical support services to franchisees as needed.
With a background in customer service and office administration, Celeste joined National Property Inspections, Inc. in 2022. Her experience in customer service is the driving force behind helping all new franchise owners get started and developing those strong business relations! In her daily role as Recruitment Coordinator, Celeste onboards new NPI and GPI franchises from across the United Stated and Canada.
Administration & Recruitment Coordinator
A member of the Nebraska Army National Guard since 2017, Sammi assists the NPI recruitment team through building relationships with new Veteran franchise owners and through various administrative channels. Sammi has a background in customer service and is an asset to the NPI corporate team with her ability to relate directly to Veterans. In coordination with the state of Nebraska and the National Guard, Sammi was also part of a team that distributed over 700,000 vaccines in the Omaha and Lincoln metro area. Sammi joined NPI in 2023.
Sydney specializes in creative marketing strategy and project management. In her current role, she leads the NPI marketing department in implementing new initiatives to increase business for franchisees in our network. With experience in art direction, public relations, and brand development, she also served as the organization’s in-house graphic and web designer during her first five years with NPI. Sydney continues to support our franchisees on a daily basis with print and digital design needs, giving them the ability to completely customize their websites, materials, and strategies to fit their local markets. Sydney joined NPI in 2017.
Business & Marketing Coach
As a certified marketing coach, Kimberly helps franchise owners develop and carry out our proprietary marketing plan. She assists our franchisees in organizing their marketing goals and coaches them on exceeding their business objectives with strategic marketing, cash flow management, and public relations. Kimberly works step-by-step with our new franchisees and coaches our veteran inspectors in taking their business to the next level. She routinely hosts organization-wide meetings and virtual events to keep our network of inspectors connected. Kimberly’s greatest reward is seeing our NPI family succeed and thrive. Kimberly has been with NPI since 2002.
Senior Marketing Communications Strategist
Stepha holds two advanced writing degrees and has more than nine years’ experience creating blog articles, PR pitches, emails, website copy, print mailers, social media posts, newsletters, and taglines. No matter what she’s writing, her goal is to engage her audience from start to finish with clear, concise copy that connects our inspection services to real people with real needs. Stepha also specializes in marketing training, strategy, and consultation, particularly in the areas of social media and email marketing. Her favorite part of her job at NPI is assisting franchisees with their digital marketing strategies so they reach their goals faster. Stepha joined NPI in 2017.

Senior SEO and Marketing Strategist
Zach brings twelve years of content marketing and nine years of search engine optimization (SEO) experience to our in-house marketing team. His areas of expertise include building marketing plans that increase franchise sales, optimizing web content for search, crafting effective paid search campaigns, reputation management, and content strategy. Zach is always more than happy to answer your questions about all things Google, and considers this the most important and enjoyable aspect of his job. He’s also a content writer and a paid ads expert, offering one-on-one consultations so you get the most from your investment. Zach started with NPI in 2017.
Content Marketing Coordinator
A graduate of the University of South Dakota, Michael has a B.A. in International Studies and English. With a background in research and writing, Michael contributes to NPI’s corporate marketing team as a copywriter and content strategist. While managing content for NPI’s three in-house blogs, The Inspector, The Franchise Informant, and The Commercial Inspector, he also assists franchisees in social media content creation. While assisting in the management of NPI’s Builder’s Warranty direct mailing program, he enjoys following commercial real estate and demographic market trends. Michael joined NPI in 2022.
Melisa graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a B.F.A. in graphic design in 2022. As the team’s dedicated in-house graphic designer, she creates digital and print marketing collateral for NPI and GPI inspectors on a daily basis. With a background in layout design, brand identity, and photography, Melisa also creates visual content for our organization’s three blogs, email marketing campaigns, and social media accounts. She enjoys crafting professionally branded materials so our inspectors can always make a great first impression and stand out from their competition. Melisa joined NPI in 2023.
National Accounts Manager
As manager of the NPI National Accounts department, Kenn guides our clients throughout the commercial inspection process. He serves as the central point of contact for our national clients.
Kenn also provides residential and commercial technical support for our inspectors. He teaches the commercial inspection segment of the NPI training program. Kenn has been with NPI since 2006.
National Accounts Coordinator
Sam contributes to the NPI National Accounts Department with placement and follow-up of all inspection orders, as well as coordination throughout the NPI network. With 5 years of experience in the Real Estate and Title world, Sam has an extensive background in building relationships with Real Estate Agents and aiding clients as they close on their first homes or find their forever homes. Sam joined National Property Inspections, Inc. in 2023.
Accounts Receivable Manager
With a background in bookkeeping and office administration, Amy joined National Property Inspections, Inc. in 2019. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, her duties include invoicing, payment processing, data entry and records management.
Administrative Support Coordinator
Niki McCown joins National Property Inspections, Inc. with an extensive background in customer service after 14 years of working in diverse industries. Developing skills in administrative support as well as marketing, graphic design, and education, Niki has always prioritized building an ability to connect with people. On the NPI team, Niki is responsible for managing many ongoing administrative programs, communicating with clients and franchisees, and welcoming guests to the corporate office. Niki joined NPI in 2023.
Technical Supervisor & Training Administrator
A former NPI franchise owner, real estate agent, and registered appraiser, Jon joined the NPI corporate team in 2020. Before coming to the real estate industry, Jon spent over 20 years in the insurance industry, most recently as President of Vale Training Solutions, a company that provides on-site and online training courses for claims specialists. With his inspection expertise and foundation in classroom instruction, Jon teaches and mentors new franchisees during their two-week training course in Omaha. He also handles technical support calls during and after office hours and guides franchisees through the state licensing process.
Independent Instructor, Plumbing
Since 1993, Brooke has provided comprehensive training in residential plumbing supply, waste and venting systems at the National Property Inspections Business and Inspector Training Academy. He is a master plumber with nearly 40 years of experience and has more than 20 years of experience as a plumbing contractor.
Independent Instructor, Electrical
Bill Heller has served as Vice President of Omaha-based electrical company Baxter-Kenworthy Electric for 26 years. He's been training inspectors in electrical systems since 2013.
