If You Want to Be the Best, Learn from the Best

National Property Inspections, Inc. provides comprehensive technical training and marketing coaching for all of its franchisees. Held at our Omaha, Nebraska headquarters, our two-week course covers the latest techniques in residential and commercial property inspection.

On each day of training, you'll participate in a session led by an instructor highly skilled in their trade. Topics cover the following areas, with a quiz given at the end of each session to measure what you've learned and to better guide your study:

Electrical. Learn how to safely inspect wiring, grounding and bonding, how to properly identify service wires, how to access panels and disconnects and how to use test equipment.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC). NPI’s expert instructor will teach you how to determine whether HVAC system components are operating within industry standards. Discover how to identify various systems and identify moving parts in an array of different HVAC unit models.

Plumbing. NPI’s plumbing training course teaches you about the various types of plumbing materials, proper pitch, drainage, fittings, pressure and flow.

Structural Elements. Footings, foundations, framing techniques, doors, windows, siding and roofing—when it comes to a building or home’s structure, there’s a lot to know.

At the end of training, you’ll take our final exam, which is designed to help you prepare for the National Home Inspector Examination or your state exam. Once you have completed your classroom training, we’ll match you up to an experienced inspector in your area for in-the-field training, helping you gain even more of the hands-on knowledge you need to launch your business with confidence. Post-training, the NPI Omaha staff will still be with you every step of the way.
